“PRINCESS OF ACADIA” ANNOUNCES WINNER OF SWEET FERRY DEAL CHOCOLATE PROMOTION
One lucky child wins1/2 their weight in chocolate (or up to 50 pounds)!

SAINT JOHN, NB (September 3, 2009) – Logan Burke, 10, of Quispamsis, NB had better not tell his dentist: he’s the proud winner of 40 pounds of chocolate from the Ganong Chocolatier Shop in St. Stephen, NB.

Bay Ferries, operator of the Princess of Acadia, partnered with the Chocolate Museum and the Ganong Chocolatier Shop to create the prize.

The contest was open to children ages 13 and under who traveled aboard the Princess of Acadia between July 27, 2009 and August 28, 2009, and also to children who submitted an entry online. All children received a coupon offering free admission to the ChocolateMuseumand a 10 percent discount at the Ganong Chocolatier Shop.

In addition to the chocolate, Logan and his family will receive a round-trip passage aboard the Princess of Acadia and a complimentary overnight stay at the Fairmont Algonquin with breakfast for four. Logan will also spend an hour learning to dip fine chocolates with the Ganong Chocolate Dippers.

The Princess of Acadia, which operates between Saint John, NB and Digby, NS featured an on-board display during the promotion and world famous Ganong Chocolate delectable’s continue to be available for sale in the Treasure Chest Gift Shop onboard the ship.
